Blind horizontal filter wells have only an entry point. When the drilling reaches the determined point and the final diameter is reamed, a washover pipe is installed. The pipe is pushed into the well and anchored at the end of the drilling in the ground. Then the washover pipe can be removed, so tensile stress on the well material is reduced to a minimum.
